CHIMP SHAMING AT THE 2013 TRILLECTRO FESTIVAL
I really don’t understand the need for hip-hop photographers to be on the actual stage in order to take photos, but that’s not the point of this post. The point of this post is to tell you if you are going to insist on being on stage don’t be the guy in these photos.
I’d like to think if you deserve to be on stage taking photos, you know how to work your camera. Don’t stand up there and chimp all fucking day.
Don’t stand in the middle of the stage and ruin everyone else’s photos. If your assignment calls for you to get on stage and get shots, do it and get out of the way. Other people are working and they need to get their shots as well.
Otherwise people like me will make photosets out of people like you. It’s like a friend told me on Twitter today, “Public shaming is the only way to fix the problem.”
